At all costs, links to these bad neighborhoods should be avoided. For having spammy link pages, link farm network pages, websites having dubious black hat SEO work done, etc are considered as bad neighborhoods and these sites are easily penalized by search engines like Google. Your website can be penalize too if you have links with them. All your promotional efforts and monetary investments that you have put in your website will go to waste if you get involved with such sites and then get penalized. The best thing that you can do is to avoid any association with them. What are your opinions?

It can be even dangerous to have such neighbourhood as we never know what Google can mean. It is better to get rid of them if it is possible.
