He is very nice person. He is writing very informative posts on all niche. Now I have got some ideas about reciprocal link. But one of my friend told me reciprocal links not working nowadays because google gives less weightage to these kind of links.
Is it true?

This is very nice article with complete explanation. I always thought reciprocal links are useless and degrade our ranking while helping theirs. Now with the right approach we can make best out of it within no time. I follow these rules.

I would want to agree that indeed reciprocal links are not
that useful in link building these days although they are
worth a try.. For every 10 free submission to directories,
I only get about one approved or none at all in a week or
so.. It's really hard to get good backlinks from
directories.. It may however be different if you avail of
their featured listings where you need to pay a certain
amount for every link that you submit..

Hi, thanx for the info. It is really yet confusing coz i;ve seen ppl say we shouldnt get reciprocal links...then others say we should. hehe its always better to stay in the line and limit it. so our links would look natural.

The "one way link" is definitely the way to go. If you are
going to spend money, spend it on getting one way links to
your site.

I think the greatest about link exchange is they help the Google to put relevancy on your site for your KW.
But for the backlink, maybe not so effective as it used to.

Nice Post! although i think things may have changed even more since this post as google has said recently that recipricol linking has been devalued even more! anybody had any experience of this yet?

today the link exchange concept has changed. three way link exchange is more acceptable than reciprocal , it works as one way.

If you are doing mass article submission then the links are not valuable, if you submit to sites like ezine articles, then it is authoritative in nature.

I think it indeed make sense when u said that the reciprocal links are NOT as effective as they used to be. But, it will increase your link popularity which is the search engines counting up how many times it finds your link on other websites.
And it is beneficial to your site a lot!~
