Hi all, Jackson here, my first post actually.

The issue of choice of marketing types available to  newbie Internet marketers is quite topical considering the avalanche of opportunities being thrown up daily with mouth watering claims.

My advice to any one who is just coming online is to begin with the two most reliable marketing platforms online toady - Google Adsense and Affiliate marketing or promotion of other people's products have consistently paid me dividend.

You will get a lot of offers on how to make X thousand dollars a day or  each month with this and that program, do not allow yourself to be swayed, most of these programs are as time consuming as thoughtless sleep, yet disclaimers in little prints at the bottom of the pitch pages make it clear that there is no guarantee for success.

Your Marketing Tools:

If you cannot write articles, which is a necessary tool, you can outsource, but please ensure that whatever articles your get are keyword-rich whether you are using  them for Affiliate programs promotion or Adsense. 

Both options require useful informative articles not meant to sell but to help readers have  some informed knowledge as they head over to the merchants from your site.

Bearing the above in mind, your article is not supposed to solve any problems, rather it should educate, prepare your visitor to make some informed decision that sends them fort to the merchants site to satisfy their needs.

Promotion using PPC is dicey, especially for newbie � a lot of fingers have been burnt with this method of Internet marketing plus, it is not a durable or long term as organic search results you can obtain from search engines using on page and off page optimizations.

Your Marketing Platform:

You need a website or blog for promoting  both Adsense and Affiliate programs, and thankfully you can now build your own website even if  have no knowledge of html; you can also create blogger blogs without any hassle, but a website is better since it allows for personal control of your content and graphics.

Your website or blog must receive visitors before you can make any money online, so you also need to have some knowledge of SEO, search engine optimization in order to properly optimize your site for
 better search engine ranking.

Again you can find most useful SEO you need online free of charge, so you have nothing to worry about, just be focused and use the same search engines, especially Google,  to get a hang on Internet marketing.

Design an effective sales letter and get it out to your customers.

Making videos has always worked for me. They don't have to be fancy nor have good graphics.

I've made some with just my cellphone and me talking recommending a certain website or affiliate program. Then I upload it to YouTube and add appropriate description and keywords.

I've built my downline really well in many programs with this simple system. And if you don't know how to make a simple video, there are sites like QuickyVideos.com that charge something like $10 (I think) for a simple video with slides.

Really, you can get a lot of traffic by uploading videos.
